1. About Code Cowboys

Code Cowboys LLC is a Michigan-based software development studio. We publish mobile and web applications, including health and wellness tracking tools and field journaling applications.

2. Important Disclaimer — Not Medical Advice

Our health-related applications are tracking tools, not medical advice. Any related products are intended to help you log and visualize your own data. The information displayed by our applications, including reference values for nutrients, minerals, or other tracked elements, is provided for general informational purposes only.

We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any reference data for any specific medical purpose. Decisions about your health are your responsibility and should be made in consultation with appropriate medical professionals.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current information
• Keep your password secure
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for activity under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use our services.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription terms:

• Subscriptions are processed through Apple, Google, or Stripe depending on the platform
• Subscription pricing is shown before purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• Cancellation is managed through the platform where you subscribed (App Store, Google Play, or our web portal)
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the platform where you purchased

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our applications for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our applications
• Use our services to harass, harm, or deceive others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Resell or redistribute our applications or any data they generate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Code Cowboys LLC owns all rights to our applications, including the software, visual design, and content we create. You retain ownership of the data you enter into our applications. We do not claim ownership of your health tracking data or other personal logs.

Reference data displayed in our applications may be sourced from third parties with appropriate attribution. Our use of such data does not transfer any rights to the underlying data sources.

7. Privacy

Your use of our applications is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our applications are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The applications will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected immediately
• The information provided is accurate, complete, or reliable for any specific purpose

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Code Cowboys LLC and its principals are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our applications, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, lost data, or medical decisions made in reliance on application data.

You acknowledge that you use our applications at your own risk and that you are responsible for any decisions, including health and dietary decisions, that you make based on data displayed by our applications.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Code Cowboys LLC from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of our applications, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our applications at any time if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using in-app account deletion features. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you will end.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our applications will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify users via email or in-app notification. Continued use of our applications after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
